A Dala horse (Swedish: DALAHÄST) is a traditional carved, painted wooden statuette of a horse originating in the Swedish province of Dalarna (Dalecarlia). The Dala horse has been widely used as a toy for children. It has also become a symbol of Dalarna, as well as of Sweden in general – hence this lovely charm. Hi Sweden!
